Disabling Kaspersky Antivirus and Firewall Protection

To disable Kaspersky anti-virus protection on your computer due to an error in the Chart Installer software, do the following:

1. Right-click the Kaspersky icon in the System Tray. This is located in the lower-right corner of the desktop. If you do not see the icon, click the arrow button at the edge of the System Tray to expand the tray and display all the icons.
2. In the context menu, select the Pause protection item.
3. In the Pause protection window, select the time interval after which protection will be resumed.
4. Click the Pause protection button and confirm your choice in the window that opens

By default, Kaspersky Firewall is enabled and functions in the optimal mode. If needed, you can disable Kaspersky Firewall.

To disable firewall protection, follow the steps below.

1. Right-click the Kaspersky icon in the System Tray. This is located in the lower-right corner of the desktop. If you do not see the icon, click the arrow button at the edge of the System Tray to expand the tray and display all the icons.
2. In the left part of the window, in the Essential Threat Protection section, select Firewall.
   In the right part of the window, the settings of the Firewall component are displayed.
3. To disable Firewall, deselect the Enable Firewall check box.
4. To save changes, click the Save button.

Close the Chart Installer program and then reopen it to refresh the screen and proceed to start the download again.
