Delta Smart Software Update
Software for your device should be kept up-to-date in order to take advantage of improvements and bug fixes. Updates are free and easy to install. To update the software on your device, please utilize one of the following methods:
Garmin Canine™
Garmin Canine will notify you if there is an update available for your Delta Smart™. You can choose to update the device at that time or dismiss the update and wait for a more convenient time. When allowing the software update for the Delta Smart to take place please ensure it is kept in close proximity mobile device.
If you choose to dismiss the update and want to update at a later time you can return to the Delta Smart's profile in the My Family section of the Canine App.

- Open the Garmin Canine app
- Tap
- Tap My Family
- Tap on the dogs name
- Tap update.
Garmin Express™
Garmin Express provides the ability to check and offer software updates automatically each time you connect your device to the computer.
