Using a DeLorme SPOT Communicator with an Earthmate PN-60w GPS and the 3.3 or Later Firmware

The 3.3 or later firmware for the PN-60w GPS updates the device for communication with an inReach® satellite communicator. Follow the instructions below to change the settings of the device to work with a DeLorme® SPOT satellite communicator.

IMPORTANT

The PN-60w will display this setting only when running the 3.3 or later firmware. This device has been discontinued and firmware updates are no longer available.

1. Turn on the PN-60w and view the Home Page.
   
   
2. Scroll to the Settings icon and press ENTER.
   
   
   
3. Scroll to Wireless and press ENTER.
   
   
   
4. Scroll to the Communicator drop down list and press ENTER.  Select the SPOT option and press ENTER. The PN-60w will now work with the DeLorme SPOT Communicator.
