There are two different power plugs for HD & MHD Amplifiers.

The way the older HD750/1 and MHD750/1 can be identified, is the plastic trim around the area the plug connects to the amplifier. In the image above, note the screws on either side of the opening.

You can identify the newer HD750/1 and MHD750/1 by the plastic trim around the area the plug connects to the amplifier. In the image above, note the larger overall size and the lack of screws on either side of the opening.
