Why is My Instinct 2 Watch Stuck on the Garmin Logo After Receiving a Software Update?

Garmin® is aware of an issue that may cause your Instinct® watch to freeze, or remain on the Garmin logo. If you are experiencing this, we recommend attempting a soft reset. The soft reset will only restart your watch and will not delete any of your data.

How to Perform a Soft Reset

  1. Hold CTRL until the watch turns off.
  2. Hold CTRL to turn on the watch.
