Purge Coverage Areas with Navionics+ or Navionics+ Updates

Some Navionics®+ and Navionics+ Updates cards can be purged of their coverage to download smaller, customized coverage.

Follow the steps below to purge your Navionics+ or Navionics+ Updates card of coverage and start downloading new or smaller coverage areas.

1. Insert your Navionics card into your computer.
2. Open the Navionics Chart Installer software.
3. Click the red trash can icon in the download section on the left side.
4. You will be asked if you want to erase all of the data.
   This will remove all of the Navionics chart files from your card. (Any photos, sonar logs, etc. will remain on the card).
5. Select Erase.
6. Once the erase has completed, click Close and begin downloading new areas.
