How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to the Garmin Dive App?
If a recorded dive from your dive computer did not sync into the Garmin Dive™ app, you can manually import the activity into the Garmin Connect™ website, which will then send the dive information to your Garmin Dive app automatically. Instructions to manually upload the activity are below. You will need the USB charging/data cable that came with your dive computer and a personal computer with a USB port in order to manually upload the activity.
Manually Uploading Activities
NOTE: Mac computers do not allow native access to Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) devices. Therefore only Descent™ G1 series watches and Descent™ Mk1 watches are accessible from a Mac computer.
Connect your dive computer to a computer using your charging/data cable.
Sign in to your Garmin Connect account with the same sign-in credentials used in the Garmin Dive app.
Select in the top right corner of the page.
Select Import Data.
Select Browse.
Locate and select an activity file. To locate the activity files on the watch, select your computer's operating system below:
Windows
With the dive computer connected to your computer:
Click Windows key + E
Click This PC (Windows 10 only)
Double-click the Garmin watch drive
Double-click the Garmin folder
Double-click the Activities folder and select an activity to import
Activity (FIT) files will typically be titled in the following format:

NOTE: These steps will only work for the Descent G1 series watches or Descent Mk1 watches.
With the dive computer connected to your computer:
Open Finder.
Click Go in the menu bar.
Click Computer.
Double-click the Garmin drive.
Double-click the Garmin folder.
Double-click the Activities folder and select an activity to import.
Activity (FIT) files will typically be titled in the following format:
Select Import Data.
Once the activities are uploaded, they can be viewed in the Garmin Connect portal and Garmin Dive app.
