Calibrating the Approach S3, S4, S5, or S6 Touchscreen
The touchscreen of the Approach S3, S4, S5, and S6 directly interacts with buttons and items shown on the screen. If your screen selections are not being accepted or are activating the wrong item, the watch screen may need to be calibrated. Calibrating the Approach will fine tune the input it receives from your screen selections.
Calibrate the Touchscreen:
Press and hold the POWER/LIGHT key to power off the watch.
When prompted to power off, select Yes.
Press and hold the MEASURE key and POWER/LIGHT key until device powers on.
Release the POWER/LIGHT key and continue to hold the MEASURE key when a Software Loader message appears.
Release the MEASURE key once "Touch the Dot" appears.
Once the calibration screen is present, complete the calibration process by selecting the dot with a stylus or a similar tool with that accuracy. Be mindful of the tool used to not scratch the touchscreen. It can be difficult to complete the screen calibration process by using your finger. After the calibration is successful, the watch will return to the time display.
