• Fixed a UI issue on the flight paths setup feature for MARQ Aviator.

• Fixed an issue where elevation alert would constantly tone.

• Fixed an issued where notifications would sometimes be slow to pop up.

• Fixed an issue where loading certain courses would cause the device to shutdown.

Installing Software Updates

Garmin Connect™ App

The Garmin Connect app will download software updates automatically behind the scenes while your watch is connected to your mobile phone. There are no steps required for you to take to get the latest software. Generally, any released updates will take up to a week to download before automatically, or prompting, to install on your device. 

Search for, and download, the Garmin Connect app in your phone's application store to get started. For more information on the Garmin Connect app, see - Garmin Connect app on Garmin.com.

Garmin Express™ Software

Garmin Express software provides the ability to check for, and download, software updates each time you connect your device to the computer.

Manually Checking for Updates From the Watch

Your Garmin watch can check for the latest software updates, while connected to the Garmin Connect App or through Wi-Fi®.

To manually check for updates, do the following:

1. Press and hold UP/MENU (middle left button).

2. Scroll to or select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Software Update.

5. Select Check for Updates.

   • While connected to Wi-Fi your watch will use it to check for updates. Otherwise checking for updates will default to using Garmin Connect.
