Change the off-route recalculation mode on the zumo 200, 400 series and 550

There may be times you want to veer off your route without having the device recalculate the route. To change the route recalculation mode on your device, you must first have the most current version of device software. To turn off Automatic Route Recalculation once the software is up-to-date:

  1. Touch the Wrench icon
  2. Touch Navigation
  3. Touch the option next to Recalculation mode
  4. Touch the desired recalculation mode1
  5. Touch OK
  6. Touch and hold the Back button to return to the main menu

1Recalculation modes:

  • Automatic will automatically recalculate your route for you if you get off course when following a route
  • Off will turn recalculations off. This means that the device will not recalculate the route if you get off course.
  • Prompted will have the device prompt you if you would like to recalculate the route when you get off course.
