(2022) Service Bulletin 22026 Rev A: GTN™ 6XX/7XX Main Software Version 6.72 and GPS Software Version 8.3

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

GTN 6XX/7XX systems installed under the GTN 6XX/7XX Part 23 AML FAA STC SA02019SE-D are affected.

PURPOSE:

This STC Service Bulletin provides notification of the FAA STC SA02019SE-D Master Drawing List GTN 6XX/ 7XX Part 23 AML STC Rev. 31 for the following:

• GTN 6XX/7XX Main Software Version 6.72
  
  • The “Enable ES" button on the transponder menu has been relabeled "ADS-B Out.”
    
  • Fixed an issue related to turn alerting logic when transitioning onto a direct-to fix (DF) leg from a fly-over waypoint, the alerted course is now the DF leg course.
    
  • Fixed an issue when in a dual GTN installation with the CDI key configured to disabled, the Top of Descent aural annunciation now only plays on a single GTN.
    
  • Added DB sync support with GNX™ 375.
    

GPS/WAAS Software Version 8.3 corrects the MSAS range rate corrections issue identified in Garmin Service Advisory 20109 Rev B and restores MSAS to the set of allowed SBAS service providers.
