  • Try these charging steps:
    1. Plug the watch into a power source
    2. Allow charging for 2 hours
    3. Remove from the power source for 5-10 minutes
    4. Plug the watch back into the power source
    5. Allow charging for another 2 hours

Factory Reset

  • Delete potentially corrupt files from the unit (to prevent the loss of user data sync with Garmin Express):
    1. Open the device as a storage drive on the computer1
    2. Open the Garmin folder
    3. Delete the GPX and Activity folders if present
      • Make sure to empty the Trash if on a Mac
  • If the unit is still not functioning properly, attempt to perform a master reset (or factory reset) on the device. Refer to your Owner's Manual for steps on resetting the watch.

1 The D2 Delta Series, Enduro, fenix 5 Plus Series, fenix 6 Series, MARQ Collection, and tactix Delta will not mount as a drive on a Mac computer, and you will not be able to access the drive to remove files.
