The Button on My Varia RTL515 Is Stuck or Not Responding

Cycling over time can cause a build up of debris which may result in the button not functioning properly. To loosen dirt and grime from the button, please perform the following steps:.

  1. Ensure the USB weather cap is in place. 

  2. Place the Varia under streaming warm water for about 10 seconds.

  3. Remove it from the running water and press the button repeatedly a few times.

  4. Rinse it again for about 10 seconds.

When the unit appears to be clean, remove it from the water and test the button to verify that it works correctly.

The Button Is Still Stuck After Cleaning

If the button on your Varia RTL515 Radar is still not working after cleaning the device will need to be replaced by Garmin. You can request an exchange using the following tool: Garmin's Online Exchange for the Varia RTL515 Radar
