Checking the Software Version of a Tread® App on an Android Phone or iPhone

The Tread® app should be kept up-to-date in order to take advantage of new features, improvements, and bug fixes.  Updates are free and easy to install.  Check for updates to the Tread® app through your mobile phone or tablet's Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

NOTE: These steps can vary. See the owner's manual of your phone if the steps below don't work on your phone.

Check for Updates to the Tread® App:

The installed version number of the Tread® app can be found on the phone itself if the app will not launch.

To Locate the Software Version of the Tread® App:

iOS:

1. Open the phone's Settings menu
2. Touch General
3. Touch iPhone Storage
4. Touch Tread®

Android version 7 or older:

1. Open the phone's Settings menu
2. Touch Apps
3. Touch Tread®

Android version 8 or newer:

1. Open the phone's Settings menu
2. Touch Apps or Apps & Notifications
3. Touch App Info (Some phones skip this step)
4. Touch Tread®
