Rename the Garmin Dash Cam or Edit the Vehicle in the Garmin Drive App

The following are items you may want to customize or edit in the Garmin Drive™ app. 

To Change the Name of your Garmin Dash Cam™:

You can change the name of your dash cam to help differentiate it from other cameras in a multiple camera network.

NOTE: The dash cam needs to be connected via Bluetooth to perform the following.

1. Open the Garmin Drive app
2. Select the vehicle, then select the dash cam
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Rename Camera
   
5. Select a camera name from the choices or tap Custom to enter your own

The camera name will be saved.

To Edit, Rename, or Delete a Vehicle:

1. Open the Garmin Drive™ app
2. Tap the Settings gear in the upper right
3. Tap Edit Vehicles
4. Select an editing option below:

• • Tap Add a Vehicle
  • Tap the trash can to remove a vehicle
  • Press and hold the vehicle name or dash cam name to rearrange your vehicles and devices
  • Tap the pencil icon to edit the name of the vehicle (example shown below)
