View Maps Purchased as a Download or Pre-programmed SD Card for an Automotive Device

Once the map has been downloaded or the SD card has been inserted into the device, first make sure that the maps are recognized and enabled.

To Verify That the Map is Recognized and Enabled:

1. Touch Tools
   • Skip this step on some devices
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Map, Map & Vehicle or Map Display
4. Touch Map Info, Info, or myMaps

This page lists the maps that the device is currently using. You should see the title of the map(s) on this page.

Some devices may display check marks next to the maps that are enabled. If the checkbox is empty, place a check in the box.

To View the Maps Without Searching for a Location:

1. Touch View Map or Map
2. Touch the map to view the full map
3. Zoom out to view a larger area by touching the minus (-) button
4. Drag your finger across the screen to pan around the map
   • Some devices require that you use the directional arrows instead of dragging your finger
5. Continue moving the map to the desired coverage area
6. Touch on the plus (+) sign until you can see the street level detail

You will now be able to view the mapping covered by the purchased map.
