Importing and Sharing GPX Files with the Tread 2 Device
GPX files can be imported and shared to and from the Tread 2 device with the Tread app, or memory card.

Sharing Your Saved Items With Others
You can share your saved items with others using the Tread app, or you can save them to a memory card.
Tread App and SD Card Sharing Options:
- From Saved on your device, select the item you want to share.
- Select an option:
To share a route or track, select the Wrench icon then Share.
To share a waypoint, select Share.
- Select an option:
To send the item to the Tread app on your phone, select Garmin Tread.
To save the item to a memory card, select Memory Card.
- If necessary, edit the name for the .gpx file.
- Select done, then OK
The data has now been shared.
Optional: Select Lowrance Compatible GPX file if you want to export the file in Lowrance format.
Transferring GPX Files From the Computer to a Memory Card
- Format a new memory card card.
- With the memory card inserted, connect the Tread device to a computer.
- On your computer, locate the Tread device drive with the Memory Card.
- Open the Memory Card drive, and create a folder named GPX.
- Drag and drop the GPX file(s) into the GPX folder on the memory card,
The files will now be on the memory card.
Importing GPX Files From a Memory Card to the Tread Device
- From Saved on your device, touch the 3 dots in the upper right.
- Select Import.
- Select from the file locations.
- Touch OK.
- Select the items to be imported (ex. Waypoints, Routes).
- Touch Next.
- Select a Collection or create a New Collection to add the imported data, if desired.
- Touch Import
The files will now be Saved on the Tread.
