Recording Sonar Data with a Garmin Marine Device

Some marine devices allow for Traditional, ClearVü™ scanning technology, and SideVü™ scanning technology sonar readings to be recorded to a micro/SD card1 to be viewed on a computer. Panoptix™ sonar, including LiveScope, cannot be recorded.
Traditional sonar recordings can be viewed² using Garmin's HomePort™ software if access to the software is available. HomePort Application Discontinued. It is not possible to view recorded sonar without the use of HomePort.
