Share Wind Data from Garmin GNX Wind Instrument

When paired with a GNX Wind Marine Instrument, information sent from a gWind Wireless 2 Transducer can be displayed on other devices (capable of receiving the NMEA 2000 sentence for wind data, PGN 130306) connected to the same NMEA 2000 network.

To determine if a Garmin chartplotter (or other type of display) is capable of receiving wind data, please refer to its Installation Instructions. The list of NMEA 2000 PGNs that can be received and/or transmitted is usually located at the end of the document, under the title "NMEA 2000 PGN Information".
