Skip Waypoints on a BMW Motorrad Navigator VI

There are two ways waypoints are skipped during a route on a BMW Motorrad Navigator VI. 

Manually Skip Waypoints:

This option is presented on the map screen. When using this option the device will recalculate the route, skipping the next waypoint in line. This will not skip the next shaping points, only waypoints. The route will be calculated to the next waypoint or shaping point after the skipped waypoint. All shaping points before the skipped waypoint will also be skipped. 

Automatically Skip Waypoints:

When enabled, the device will skip waypoints that appear off the road when passing by them. This is not intended to skip waypoints when deviating from the calculated route. 

The options for skipping waypoints can be changed from the Navigation menu. To change this setting:

1.Touch Settings from the Where To? and View Map screen

2. Touch Navigation

3. Touch the check box next to Automatically Skip Waypoints to enable or disable this feature 

Waypoints will now be skipped based off the chosen setting.
