Traffic Info Displayed in the Smartphone Link App Does Not Match the Automotive Device

If the list of traffic information within the Smartphone Link on your phone and the traffic information listed on your device do not match, this can be normal due to differences in the way that these two traffic tools display data.

When viewing traffic info within the Smartphone Link App on your phone, all the traffic flow and incident information in a radius of your current position will be displayed. While this does provide a robust amount of information, it will not all be relevant to your current route on your device.

When viewing the list of traffic info on your automotive device, the only data that will display in the list by default are incidents. If an active route is programmed into the device, flow data pertinent to that route will also be listed. Traffic flow information will display on the map if a yellow or red slowdown is detected.
