How to Reset the GPSMAP 67/67i Handheld Devices
There are a few instances in which it is necessary to perform a full reset on a GPSMAP® 67 or GPSMAP® 67i handheld device, including the following:
Not receiving a satellite signal
Restoring the factory default settings
Not functioning properly
The information and steps below will walk you through backing up your data and resetting.
Before Resetting
If the device is not receiving a satellite signal or not functioning properly, it is best to try updating the device with Garmin Express™ program before resetting, if possible. For steps see - Updating the Software on Your Outdoor Handheld With Garmin Express.
Performing a full reset can cause loss of user data loss such as waypoints, routes, tracks, activities and geocaches.
It is recommended to back up important data with the Garmin Explore™ app before resetting. For steps, see - Syncing the Garmin Explore App.

Performing a Reset
With the device powered off, press and release the power button.
When you see the text appear under the Garmin logo, press and hold both PAGE and ENTER simultaneously.
Release the PAGE and ENTER buttons when you see an option to Erase all of your data.
Arrow to Erase.
Press ENTER.
The device is now reset. You will want to take the device outside in a clear view of the sky for a minimum of 20 minutes to refresh satellite data.
