My Basemap and Terrain Cycle is not Matching what is on flyGarmin
This support article explains why the Basemap and Terrain information displayed on your Garmin integrated flight deck, including the G1000®, G1000® NXi, G3000®, and G5000® might differ from the cycle numbers listed on the flyGarmin® website.
The database update schedule from flyGarmin will show the latest available cycle number for each specific database, including the Basemap and Terrain databases.
Basemap:
- G1000: The startup page displays a software version, not a cycle number. Use the table below to correlate the software version to the Basemap cycle.
Basemap Cycle Numbers and Versions
Basemap Cycle 24M1 - Version 5.21 or Version 2.06 | Basemap Cycle 22M1 - Version 5.20 or Version 2.05 | Basemap Cycle 20M3 - Version 5.19 or Version 2.04 |
Basemap Cycle 20M2 - Version 5.18 | Basemap Cycle 20M1 - Version 5.17 | Basemap Cycle 19M1 - Version 5.16 |
Basemap Cycle 18M1 - Version 5.15 | Basemap Cycle 17M1 - Version 5.14 | Basemap Cycle 16M1 - Version 5.13 |
Basemap Cycle 15M1 - Version 5.12/5.11 | Basemap Cycle 14M1 - Version 5.10/.01/.00 | End |
- G1000 NXi, G3000, G5000: The startup page also displays a software version for Basemap. Find the Basemap cycle from the Databases page on the avionics or use the table above for correlation.
Terrain:
- The Start Up page may show a software version instead of a cycle number.
- To find the Terrain cycle number:
- G1000: Check the Aux - System Status page.
- G1000 NXi: Check the Aux - Databases page.
- G3000/G5000: Check the Database Status page (accessible from the GTC).
