BaseCamp Locking Up or Not Responding on Mac OS 11.0.1 Big Sur
We are currently looking into the issue of BaseCamp locking up, or being unresponsive when opened on Mac OS 11.0.1 (Big Sur).
As a workaround for the time being, you can use the 3D map view with the steps below.
Using the 3D Map View on BaseCamp
- Open Basecamp
- Select View from the top toolbar
- Select 3D map only
- Connect your Garmin device
Once these changes have been made, Basecamp will save your settings and the program will function correctly while we look for a resolution. Thank you for your patience!
