(2022) Service Bulletin 22091 Rev A: G1000 NXi STC Software Update for King Air C90 Series Aircraft

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

Textron Aviation (Beechcraft) King Air models C90A, C90GT, and C90GTi aircraft equipped with G1000 NXi Integrated Flight Deck installed per STC SA01456WI-D System Software Version 3557.00 or 3557.01 are affected.

COMPLIANCE:

Optional: STC Service Bulletin 22091 may be incorporated at the owner’s discretion.

PURPOSE:

This service bulletin provides notification for System Software Version 3557.02 and provides the following:

• Updated GSU 75B ADC system software
  
• Audio configuration update to provide improved audio output in support of the optional CVR (use and approval are the responsibility of the installer); refer also to Service Bulletin 22090.
  
• Audio configuration update to restore 3rd comm support which was omitted in the transition from G1000 Legacy to G1000 NXi (use and approval are the responsibility of the installer)
  
• Maximum fuel tank capacity configuration update to support CenTex STC SA11142SC which adds saddle fuel tanks, increasing G1000 maximum fuel tank capacity (does not affect the existing C90 fuel quantity system which is not interfaced to G1000)
  
• Additional clerical configuration updates
