Add and Remove Connections in Garmin Connect

The Connections feature in your Garmin Connect™ account allows you to find your friends, share your activities, and compete in online challenges with others. You can customize your Connections List by following the steps below. If your Connections are not seeing your data during Challenges, etc. please see Related content below.

NOTE: You must have a Garmin device paired to your Garmin Connect account to be able to add any Connections. If you have a Garmin device paired to your account, there is a limit of 1,000 Connections. If the limit for Connect contacts is reached you will receive the error "You have reached the maximum of 1000 Connect contacts. Try removing some in order to invite more." when using the Garmin Connect app or, if you are using Garmin Connect web, the request to add Connect contacts will not be sent.
