Using Glances on a Compatible Garmin Watch
Glances allow you to see three widgets at a time while scrolling through your compatible Garmin® watch. This allows you to compare information between widgets at a glance. When you select a glance it will bring you to the detailed view.
Customize My Glances
Customizing the glances on most watches can be done through the Garmin Connect™ app using the steps below. Select models will allow you to make these changes directly on the watch. For details on how to customize your glances through your watch settings please see your owner's manual.
Add a Glance
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Open the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select the name of your Garmin watch.
Select Appearance.
Select Glances or Widgets.
Depending on your device, you may need to select Edit.
Scroll down to the Available or Not Installed section.
Depending on your device, select
to add a glance. Or select a widget and select Install.- Return to the devices page and sync your watch.
Remove a Glance
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Open the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select the name of your Garmin watch.
Select Appearance.
Select Glances or Widgets.
- Depending on your device, you may need to select Edit.
Depending on your device, select
to remove the glance. Or select a widget and select Uninstall.- Return to the devices page and sync your watch.
Rearrange the Glances
Open the Garmin Connect app.
Open the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select the name of your Garmin watch.
Select Appearance.
Select Glances.
Locate the glance you want to move.
Select
and drag to the new position.Return to the devices page and sync your watch.
