Attaching UltraFit Nylon Straps to Your Garmin Watch

UltraFit nylon straps feature an elastic dual-layer antimicrobial nylon weave that is lightweight, soft and comfortable to wear. The straps loop around the spring bars of the watch and secure via two hook and loop fasteners. UltraFit straps come in the following sizes:

• UltraFit 20 mm
• UltraFit 22 mm
• UltraFit 26 mm

Not all Garmin® watches are compatible with UltraFit bands. Check the Compatible Devices tab on the links above to see which watches are compatible.

How to Attach the UltraFit Nylon Strap

Before installing, remove the old band from the watch. Check your owner's manual for steps if you are uncertain how to remove the band.
NOTE: If your watch does not have a QuickFit band already installed, 2 T6 Torx drivers may be needed to remove the old band.

1. Insert the open end of the band at an angle between the housing and band pin. Note the hook closure pads should face up while inserting.
2. Pull the band through.
3. Insert the open end into the top gap from the front side of the watch. Note the hook closure pads should face down while inserting.
4. Secure hook and loop in place by pressing firmly.
5. Put watch strap on wrist.
6. Pull on closed end of the strap to tighten.
7. Press end of strap firmly in place to secure.
