Providing a tach signal from a Yamaha Command Link system to a Garmin autopilot

To receive the tach signal from a Yamaha Command Link System to a TR-1 Autopilot, a Digital to Analog Converter will need to be purchased. If the GHP 10 autopilot is being used and the Command Link System cannot output NMEA 2000, the Digital to Analog Converter cable will also be needed.

Garmin does not sell this converter, so please contact a Yamaha Dealer to order one. The part number is MAR-6X6DA-C0-00. This will include all of the necessary components to convert the Digital Tach signal to an Analog signal for single motor or both Port and Starboard motors.
