Map options for Edge devices

The Edge 605, 705, 800, 810, 820, 1000, Explore 820/1000, Touring and Touring Plus¹ support a variety of map products in a variety of formats.

For detailed street maps, which include turn-by-turn navigation for roads and the ability to look up points-of-interest (addresses, hotels, restaurants, etc.), consider one of our Street map products.

For detailed off-the-road navigation, which include terrain contour lines, elevation markers, summit peaks, national and state park information and basic lake information, consider TOPO U.S. 100K or TOPO U.S. 24K from our TOPO map products.

NOTE: The Edge 20, 25, 200, 205, 305, 500, 510, 520 are non-mapping devices and therefore, no maps can be loaded.

¹ The Edge 820, 1000, Explore 820/1000, Touring, and Touring Plus all come with preloaded Garmin Cycle Maps. Since these devices come with maps included, purchasing extra maps may only be needed when traveling outside the map coverage area or when TOPO maps are desired.
