Removing an inReach Device From the Garmin Messenger App

You may need to remove a paired inReach® satellite communicator from the Garmin Messenger™ app if you no longer have it, or for troubleshooting Bluetooth issues.

1. Forget the Phone From the Bluetooth Settings of the inReach Device

NOTE: This step is not necessary for the inReach® Mini 2 satellite communicator, or if you no longer have the inReach device.

  1. From the main menu, select Setup or Settings.

  2. Select Bluetooth or Phone.

  3. Select Forget Phone.

2. Forget the inReach Device From the Bluetooth Menu of the Phone

  • Consult the phone manufacturer for steps if needed

3. Remove the inReach Device From the Garmin Messenger App

  1. Open the Garmin Messenger app.

  2. Select the profile icon or Gear Symbol in the top left.

  3. Select Devices.

  4. Select your inReach device.

  5. Select Remove Device.
