Customizing Your Alpha 200 Plus and Alpha 300 Menus

The Alpha® 200 Plus, Alpha® 300, and Alpha® 300i dog tracking handhelds have a layout and design where with a click of an icon your entire layout can be customized and redesigned.

Menu Style

The handheld display will default to the first customizable icon on the favorites bar.

From your default screen: 

1. Select Main Menu
2. Select the Set Up icon located on the favorites bar
   
3. Select the Main Menu Set Up 
   
4. Select Menu Style, by default the Menu Style is set to Grid
   • Grid
   • Small Grid
   • List

Customize Main Menu

From the Main menu

1. Select the Set Up icon located on the favorites bar
   
2. Select the Main Menu Set Up 
   
3. Select Main Menu 
4. Select the icon you want to remove or change the order of. 
5. Select Add Page to add an icon from one of the three categories
   + Expand all

To remove or change the order of an application

1. Select the icon you want to change 
2. Select one of the following options 
   • Insert: To Insert an application above the current icon
   • Remove: To remove the application from the Main Menu
   • Move Down/Move Up: To change the order of your applications

Rearranging your Main Menu

You are able to customize your main menu without needing to go into the settings of the handheld. 

From the Main Menu

1. Press/Hold the icon you wish to reorder or remove from your Main Menu Screen
2. The handheld will Vibrate
3. Continue to hold the icon as you drag it to a new location on your screen 
4. Release the icon when you get to the desired location. 

You are also able to remove icons from this main menu by dragging and dropping the icon to the bottom right corner where the trash icon is located.
