Dog Alerts Not Appearing on Handheld

In order for a dog tracking collar to provide alerts, such as on-point or treed, certain criteria must be met.

To receive alerts from the dog collar:

• Ensure the collar has been paired. For pairing instructions see: Pairing a Dog Tracking Handheld and Collar
• Ensure the collar alerts are properly set, see your handheld's manual below
  • Alpha® 100
  • Alpha® 200i
  • Alpha® 300
  • Astro® 900
  • Astro® 430
  • Astro® 320
• Ensure the collar and handheld have a strong satellite lock
• Ensure the collar has moved at least 20 yards away
• Wait for the dog to remain at a given location for a substantial period of time (typically over a minute)

Being mindful of these requirements will ensure the collar functions as expected.
