The technology is drive type (FWD/RWD) indifferent. As long as you select the correct car on the Drive setup page, it will provide you coaching, feedback, and guidance on your optimal line (specifically for that car/driver).  It is able to optimize any setup since the device is only looking at what a driver/car has actually driven.

The key is selecting the right driver (as everyone’s driving styles are different), the correct car, and the correct weather conditions. From there the Garmin Catalyst does the rest. You can be assured that we are making the most of their driving style, car, and environmental conditions.
