Error Message When Attempting to Register a Garmin Marine Device

If an error message presents when trying to register a marine device using the ActiveCaptain® app, Garmin Express™ program, or Garmin.com, there are a few reasons this might occur. If using ActiveCaptain or Garmin Express, ensure the app or application is up to date. Is it possible that the device is registered to a former owner, contact Marine Product Support.
