School Zone Alerts on Automotive Devices

There may be times when you will see a School Zone alert display on your device even when it is not during school zone hours.

An alert will display as an orange indicator and provide an audible chime under the following circumstances:

• During the posted school zone hours, if those hours are known (included in the map data)
• Weekdays between 7 am-5 pm if specific school zone hours are not known (not included in the map data)

Currently, not all school zone hours are listed for known school zones. School Zone alerts are available in some locations in the US and Canada.

School zone alerts cannot be disabled on your device.
