Missing Letter or Strange Symbols on a nüvi® Device

If a nüvi® 200 series device has an older version of the system software, the device may encounter problems with the keyboard. The keyboard screen may be missing letters, have jumbled letters, displaying duplicate letters, or display strange symbols on the address screen.

To correct this, you will need to update the system software of your nüvi®.  System software can be updated using Garmin Express.

After your software has been updated, please take your device outdoors and keep it in a stationary position with an open view of the sky until it acquires satellite signal.
