Battery Drain After Loading a Connect IQ App
If you notice an increase in battery drain and have to charge your Garmin® more frequently after installing a Connect IQ™ app, there may be an issue with that app. It is recommended that you uninstall the app and see if the battery life improves. If battery life is not improved, it may be another setting on your Garmin device. Additional information on battery drain can be found at the bottom of the article.
Uninstalling a Connect IQ App
Open the Connect IQ Store app.
Select Device.
If you need to change devices, select
(top right) and select the correct Garmin device.
Select the correct "Installed Apps" field: My Watch Faces, My Device Apps, My Data Fields, My Widgets, or My Music.
If any of the above Connect IQ features are missing, then they are not supported with your device.
Select the app you wish to remove.
Select Uninstall.
Sync your device.
The Connect IQ content will be removed from your device after your next successful sync.
If your device's battery life has noticeable improvements after uninstalling the app, it is recommended that you contact the developer so they may address the issue. For information on how to contact the developer see: Issues with an App Installed From the Connect IQ Store App.
