(2011) Service Advisory 1155 Rev A: GTN 625/GTN 635/GTN 650/GTN 725/GTN 750 Units and Approaches with Holds/Course Reversals at the Initial Approach Fix

GTN 6XX/7XX Units with Main Software Version 2.00.

DESCRIPTION

When flying an approach multiple times with a Hold/Course Reversal at the Initial Approach Fix (IAF), the Hold/Course Reversal may not be properly re-inserted into the flight plan on the second and subsequent uses of the approach.

PILOT ACTION

Until updated software is installed: When flying the same approach multiple times, always remove the approach on the Flight Plan Page and reload approaches from the Procedure Page.

RESOLUTION

Garmin plans to correct this issue in a later software version.
