Additional Mapping on the Rino 700

Even though the Rino® 700 outdoor handheld does have a worldwide basemap loaded, it cannot be loaded with any additional mapping. The Rino 700 handheld does not have any internal memory for adding mapping, and there is not a microSD card slot for expanded memory . The Rino 700 handheld is considered to be a non-mapping GPS unit, designed for simplicity. The Rino 700 handheld was primarily made to save your waypoints and your tracks so that you can find places and locations that are important to you and to keep you from getting lost.

With the Rino 700 handheld you can save waypoints and use the device to navigate to them, save and follow tracks, and you can create routes by linking a series of waypoints together. The Rino 700 handheld also works with the Garmin BaseCamp™ program.
