How to Disable the Garmin Catalyst Startup Video

When the Garmin Catalyst™ Driving Performance Optimizer is powered on, the device plays a demonstration video.

To change this behavior, tap the screen as the video is playing.  A prompt will display as follows:

Choose the desired action:

• Do Not Play at Startup permanently disables the video
• Cancel cancels the interruption and continues to play the video
• Skip Once skips the video this time and leaves it enabled for future startups
