"The imported route(s) were calculated with different maps. Would you like to recalculate the route(s)?" message on a device

The message "The imported route(s) were calculated with different maps. Would you like to recalculate the route(s)?" may appear on a device capable of multiple-stop routing.

This message should only appear when a route was created in a mapping program (e.g., MapSource or BaseCamp™) then transferred to a device using a different mapping version than was used in the program.

First, check which mapping version is installed to the device.

To see which map version is installed:

  1. Touch Tools
  2. Touch Settings
  3. Touch myMaps

Then, when using BaseCamp™ (Windows) or MapSource, a drop-down menu will appear near the top of the window whenever more than one mapping product is installed to the computer.

To confirm the installed map when the drop-down is missing or when using BaseCamp™:

MapSource:

  1. Open MapSource
  2. Click View
  3. Hover over Switch to Product
  4. Select the relevant mapset

BaseCamp™:

  1. Open BaseCamp™
  2. Click Maps
  3. Select the relevant mapset

Once the route has been created with the same mapping version, the message will no longer appear.
