My Garmin Golf Watch Is Not Displaying the Hole Map or the Shot Measurement Banner

Features on golf watches can have different effects on how items are displayed on the screen. Big Numbers mode has noticeable differences compared to the normal hole view.

Hole View on Golf Watches

The normal hole view shows the distances to the green with a display of the full hole's map or green depending on the features of the watch. Additionally, a banner will appear at the top showing the shot measurement distance.

Hole View in Big Numbers Mode

Big Numbers will increase the size of the distances to the green to cover more of the screen. This will prevent the full hole map view and shot banner from displaying. Disabling Big Numbers in the settings of your watch will allow the shot measurement banner and hole map view to display. See the owner's manual for instructions.
