Android: Requesting a Refund

All in-app transactions take place through the Google Play store, which is handled by Google. They allow you to request a refund within 48 hours of the transaction if something you bought is not working, is not what you expected, was bought by accident, or you changed your mind about the purchase. Depending on your specific situation they may be able to help. If your refund is approved, you will lose access to the content.

You can request your refund through the Google Play website:

  1. Go to play.google.com.
  2. At the top right, click your Profile picture.
  3. Click Payments & subscriptions > Budget & order history.
  4. For the order you want to return, click Report a problem.
  5. Select the option that describes your situation.
  6. Complete the form and note that you would like a refund.
  7. Click Submit.

You can only return an app or game for a refund once. If you buy it again, you will not be able to get a refund.

IMPORTANT: You will want to check to be sure the subscription autorenewal attached to your purchase is turned off. 

  1. On your Android device, go to subscriptions in Google Play.
  2. Select the Navionics Boating app subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the instructions.
