Replacing the Band Pin

The band pin is spring loaded. Once it is in place, it can not be removed without cutting it. If you are using a third-party band with your watch that does not have a Garmin compatible QuickFit mechanism, you will need to put the band on the band pin before you secure the band pin to the watch housing.

  1. OPTIONAL: Put the band pin through the pin hole of your third-party watch band.

  2. Align one end of the band pin into the hole in the arm of the watch body.

  3. Depress the spring loaded part of the band pin that has not been aligned with the watch body and push into the hole on the opposing arm of the watch.
