eTrex 22x or 32x Database Error, Track Archive Error or Missing Languages
If you find that your eTrex® 22x or 32x outdoor handheld is providing a Database Error message or languages are missing, the steps below can be performed to resolve the issue.
Software Update
First, confirm that the eTrex 22x or 32x has the most current software and has been registered to your account with Garmin Express while connected to a computer.

Device Reset
Complete a device reset. Many times this will resolve a device that is not functioning as it should.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, the device needs to be replaced. You can set up the exchange by clicking Garmin's Online Exchange for the eTrex 22x or 32x .
