Deleting User Data in ActiveCaptain

To delete user data, like waypoints, routes, and tracks, in the ActiveCaptain® app, use the following steps:


NOTE: When deleting user data in the ActiveCaptain App, the user data will also be deleted on a connected chartplotter/fishfinder. Disconnect ActiveCaptain and the chartplotter/fishfinder to avoid unintentional loss of data.


To delete a single waypoint, route or track


  1. Open the ActiveCaptain app

  2. Select Chart 

  3. Select

  4. Select User Data

  5. Select the Waypoint, Route, or Track tab

  6. Select the waypoint, route or track to be deleted

  7. Select More

  8. Select Delete

The waypoint, route or track will be deleted.


To delete all user data


  1. Open the ActiveCaptain app

  2. Select Chart 

  3. Select

  4. Select User Data

  5. Select 

  6. Select Delete All User Data

All waypoints, routes and tracks will be deleted.
