Using Back to Start on the inReach Mini 2
The Back to Start feature can be used to navigate back to the beginning of a recorded track or activity. If you do not have any saved activities or have not started tracking, Back to Start will not be available. It is recommended to start tracking at the beginning of your trip.
NOTE: When Send Interval is enabled, sent points count as "Tracking Points" for your inReach Subscription. You can view your subscription plan details from the Home page of your Garmin Explore account.
Navigating to the Start of Your Current Track
While tracking is enabled, the inReach Mini 2 will record your path as an activity and Back to Start can be accessed from the Tracking widget glance.
- From the home page, press
or
to scroll through the widget glances.
- Select Tracking.
- Press OK to open the options menu.
- Select Stop Tracking.
- Select Back to Start.
The inReach Mini 2 will now navigate back along the path that was previously recorded and provide alerts if you are off course or when you have arrived back at the starting point.
Navigating to the Start of a Saved Activity
If you have already stopped and saved the current track as an activity, you can still navigate back to the start of the activity by accessing the Navigation widget glance.
- From the home page, press
or
to scroll through the widget glances.
- Select Navigation.
- Press OK to open the options menu.
- Select Navigate.
- Select Activities.
- Select an activity.
- Select Back to Start.
The inReach Mini 2 will now navigate back along the path that was previously recorded and provide alerts if you are off course or when you have arrived back at the starting point.
