Installing Maps to a Computer Using Garmin Express for an Outdoor Handheld

Some Garmin Outdoor Handheld products come preloaded with City Navigator® mapping and Garmin Express™ software has the ability to install that mapping to the computer for use with the BaseCamp™ program.

This process can be done during a new map update, or if the map was already up to date, it can only be installed to the computer.

NOTE: The BaseCamp™ and MapInstall™ programs are installed during the map installation process on a Windows computer. On a Mac, BaseCamp™ software needs to be installed after the map installation is complete.
