Searching for POIs, Favorites, or Saved Locations by Name on Automotive Devices

There may be times you will want to quickly find a point of interest (POI) or a saved location on your automotive device. You can do this by searching the name of the POI or saved location.

To Find a Favorite by Spelling the Name:

1. Touch Where To?
2. Touch Favorite, My Locations, or Saved Places
3. Touch Favorites or All Favorites
   • Skip this step on some devices
4. Touch Spell 
   
   • Some devices require you to touch the menu button (three horizontal lines) before this step
5. Spell the name of the favorite
6. Touch the favorite you are looking for
7. Touch Go

Your device will calculate a route to the selected favorite.

To Find a Specific POI by Spelling the Name:

1. Touch Where to?
2. Touch Points of Interest, or Food, Lodging...
   • Skip this step on some devices
3. Touch Spell Name
4. Enter the name of the desired POI
5. Touch Done
6. Select the desired POI from the search results list

You may navigate to the location by touching Go! or save the location to Favorites by touching Save.
